Norman Wesley Cox, 79, of Elkhorn, Kentucky, son of the late Pete Cox and Nancy Elizabeth Tucker Cox was born January 19th, 1942, in Adair County and departed this life on Sunday, January 9th, 2022, at his home in Elkhorn.
He professed his faith in Christ and attended Meade County General Baptist Church. Norman was a carpenter by trade and worked as a construction contractor for most of his life.
Norman is survived by his three loving children: Otis Cox of Brandenburg, Kentucky; Rhonda Wirth and her husband, William, of Louisville, Kentucky; and Duane Cox of Brooks, Kentucky.
Three grandchildren: Alex Wirth, Matthew Wirth, and Stephanie Wirth, all of Louisville, Kentucky.
One brother: Harold Cox of Louisville, Kentucky.
One sister: Eliza Creola Cox Biggs.
Special friend: Brenda Helm of Merrimac.
Besides his parents, Norman is preceded in death by:
One son: Norman Wesley Cox, Jr.
Three brothers: James H. Cox, William Cox, Jay Cox
Three sisters: Myrtle Cox Bright, Flossie Cox Taylor, Edna Hampton Cox and Mary Alice Thompson.
VISITATION: Tuesday, January 11th, 2022, from 6pm-8pm EST at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville.
FUNERAL: Wednesday, January 12th, 2022, at 11am EST at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville.
Burial to follow in Merrimac Church Cemetery.
