Nelma "Sue" (Stargel) Loy

Nelma "Sue" Stargel Loy, 79, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, daughter of the late James Gordon Stargel and Delta Goodin Stargel was born February 17th, 1942, in Adair County and departed this life peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, June 20th, 2021, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

She professed her faith in Christ and was a member of New Hope Separate Baptist Church in Millerfield, Kentucky.  Sue retired from Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville but continue to work at Campbellsville Apparel and Amazon here in Taylor County.  

Sue united in marriage to Danny Loy on July 7th, 1968, whom survives of 53 years of marriage.

Survived by two sons:  Chad Loy and wife Hannah of Campbellsville, Kentucky.  Brent Loy and wife Sharon of Campbellsville, Kentucky.

Three grandchildren:  Haleigh Gadberry, Hannah Gadberry, both of Campbellsville, Kentucky, and Taylor Loy of Upton, Kentucky.

Two sisters:  Geneal Abrell and husband Charley of Columbia, Kentucky, and Lou Coomer of North Carolina.

Along with many other family, friends, and relatives.

Besides her parents, Sue is preceded in death by one sister and one brother:  Wanda Burton and Phillip Stergel.

VISITATION:  Wednesday, June 23rd, 2021, from 10am-11am EST at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville, Kentucky.

FUNERAL:  Wednesday, June 23rd, 2021, at 11am EST at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville, Kentucky.

Burial to follow at Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.  Bro. Brent Loy will be officiating the service.
