George (Bobby) Robert Harmon, 82, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, son of the late Eugene Merlin Harmon and Lida May (Shipp) Harmon was born in Mannsville, Kentucky, on May 21st, 1938, and departed this life on December 8th, 2020, at his home in Campbellsville, Kentucky.
He professed his faith in Christ and was a member of the Mt. Zion Methodist Church in Wooleyville, Kentucky. Bobby was a retired tape cutter at Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville, Kentucky.
Bobby united in marriage on May 2nd, 1959, to Jane (Roby) Harmon, who precedes him in death on April 20th, 2013.
Survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Robby Harmon and wife, Kathy, of Finley, Kentucky.
Two grandchildren: Kelly Noel and husband, Jamie, of Campbellsville, Kentucky; Leslie Bennett and husband, Nathan, of Campbellsville, Kentucky.
Four great-grandchildren: Ruger Noel, Ryder Noel, Alex Bennett, and Haley Bennett, all of Campbellsville, Kentucky.
One sister: Betty Tungate of Lebanon, Kentucky, along with several nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents and his wife, Mr. Harmon was also preceded in death by one son: Bryan Keith Harmon in 1963.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm EST, Friday, December 11th, 2020, at the Auberry Funeral Home and Cremation Services on Main Street in downtown Campbellsville, Kentucky. Visitation from 11am-2pm EST at the funeral home. Bro. Robert Boston will be officiating the service for Mr. George Robert (Bobby) Harmon. Burial to follow in the Mt. Zion Methodist Cemetery in Wooleyville, Kentucky.
Due to Governor Andy Beshear's mandate, all services will be held privately and limited to 25 people.
Social distancing guidelines and mask are required upon entering building.
