Thomas "Jay" Jewell French

Thomas "Jay" Jewell French, 84, of Hodgenville, Kentucky, son of the late Cooper and Verdie (Howell) French, was born in Larue County on September 16th, 1937, and departed this life at his home in Hodgenville on Saturday, July 9th, 2022.

He retired from being an architecture of blueprints for contractors and construction workers.

Survived by:

His wife: Ruth Ann Elliott of Hodgenville.

One daughter: Tara Nichol Hall and fiancé Thomas Grammar of Campbellsville.

Two sons:  Jason Brian French and his wife, Pixie, of Louisville and Timothy Jay French of Lexington.

Two brothers:  Jackie French of Hodgenville and Jerry French of Buffalo.

Two sisters:  Helen French of Hodgenville and Pat Vance of Magnolia.

Along with his five grandchildren and many other family and friends.

Besides his parents, Thomas is preceded in death by:

One daughter: Beverly Bell in 2009.

Two sisters:  Ruby Schillers and Jenny Pruitt.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for expressions of sympathy be taken in the form of donations to Pallister-Killian Mosaic Syndrome (PKS Kids) or Alzheimer’s Association and can be made at the funeral home.

Cremation was chosen by the family. No formal service is requested at this time.  Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville is in charge of arrangements.
