Sharon Elizabeth Sofiak

Mrs. Sharon Elizabeth Sofiak, age 76, departed this life on Friday, July 9th, 2020, at her home in Campbellsville, Ky. She was born August 9th, 1943 in Casey County, Kentucky. The daughter of the late Joseph Gregory “Monk” Wethington and Florence Glenna Wethington.

She united to marriage to Dennis Sofiak, November 6th, 1993.

She professed faith in Christ and attended Campbellsville Christian Church.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 26 years and 7 months, Dennis; five children: Tara Burdine and husband Doug of Campbellsville; Caroline Hewitt and husband Dave of Bradfordsville; Gary Lyons and wife Terri of Campbellsville; Larry Lyons and wife Lisa of Campbellsville and Scott Lyons of Campbellsville. One stepdaughter, Tracey Bean and husband Jason of Indianapolis, IN. Ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, a special niece, Pat Willoughby of Paris, KY.

She is preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.

Funeral will be held Sunday, July 12th, 2020, at 2:00 P.M. EST, at Auberry Funeral Home with burial to follow in Brookside Cemetery in Campbellsville, Ky. A walk through visitation will be held Sunday, July 12th, 2020, at 11:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M. EST. until the time of the services at the funeral home.

State social distancing guidelines will be in effect for all services.
