Ronald Woodrum

Campbellsville

Mr. Ronald Woodrum of Campbellsville, Kentucky, son of the late Ernest Woodrum and Doris Perkins Woodrum was born on June 28th, 1952 in Taylor County, Kentucky and departed this life on Friday, February 21st, 2020. He was 67 years of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Separate Baptist Church. He was a retired employee of General Electric Co. and a retired farmer of 30 years. He served his country honorably in the United States Army Reserves for 17 years attaining the rank of Drill Sergeant.

He united in marriage to Estelle Marie Atwood on August 22, 1970, who preceded him in death on January 23, 2012.

Mr. Woodrum is survived by 1 son and 3 daughters: Michael Woodrum and wife Marsha of Campbellsville, Deronda Calhoun and husband Jimmy, Tina Cave and husband John all of Elkhorn, and Stephanie Pittman and husband Jason of Lebanon. 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, who he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by one grandson Brandon Michael Woodrum. One Brother and two Sisters survive: Stevie Woodrum of Campbellsville, Kathleen Cox and husband Dalton, and Pauline Ford and husband Gary both of Elkhorn. He is preceded in death by one sister Charlene Hoosier.  He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, a close friend Wanda Rodgers and many other relatives and friends.

The funeral services for Mr. Ronald Woodrum will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, February 25th, 2020 at Auberry – Gupton & Chandler Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Callahan Cemetery.

Visitation is requested from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M., Monday February 24th, 2020 at Auberry – Gupton & Chandler Funeral Home and after 7 A.M., Tuesday until the time of the funeral service.

Pallbearers: Jonathan Cox, Ryan Pittman, James Calhoun, Blake Woodrum, Kevin Atwood, Damon Cox, Ernie Ford, Dawson Pittman

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Gideon Bibles or Eight Days of Hope and can be made at the funeral home.
