Cloyce Abel

Cloyce Coleman Abel, 92, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, son of the late Elmer Abel and Freda Locke Abel was born July 1st, 1931 in Salem, IA, and departed this life on November 4th, 2023.

Cloyce united in marriage to Ms. Carol Irene Runner on August 9th, 1965. She survives. Cloyce worked as a school teacher for many years. He taught business classes and driver’s education for most of that time.

Besides his wife, Cloyce is survived by:

One son, Cody C. Abel, and his wife, Tammy, of Campbellsville

One daughter-in-law, Julie Abel of Honey Creek, IA

Three grandchildren: Angelo Masiello and his wife, Mary, of Maysville, NC; Emily Krukowski and her husband, Paul, of 29 Palms, CA; and Alex Abel of Omaha, NE

One great-granddaughter, June Masiello of Maysville, NC

Several nieces and nephews

A host of other relatives and friends

He was preceded in death by:

One son, Chad Abel

One brother and two sisters: Clair Abel, Clarice Foster, and Beverly Houchin

FUNERAL: A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville is in charge of arrangements.
