Betty Jean (Malone) Derringer

June 6, 1943 — September 26, 2022

Campbellsville

Betty Jean Malone Derringer, 79, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, was born June 6th, 1943, in Casey County, Kentucky, to the late Willie Malone and Dorothy Cox Malone.  She passed away on Monday, September 26th, 2022, at Select Specialty Hospital in Danville, KY.

She was a retired seamstress and worked at Fruit of the Loom for 36 years.  She also worked at Amazon Distribution Center.  Mrs. Derringer professed faith in Christ and was of the Christian faith.  She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and caring grandmother.

She was united in marriage to her husband, Roscoe Junior Derringer, on April 12th, 1974, who survives.

Survived by two sons: Kevin Derringer and wife Christy; and Barry Derringer and wife Dana; both of Campbellsville.

Four grandchildren: Megan Derringer, Dustin Derringer, Lexi Derringer, and Harli Jo Derringer.

Three great-grandchildren: Irelynn Criley, Iris Derringer, and Zepplin Derringer.

Two brothers: Bobby Malone of Vine Grove and Curtis Malone, and wife Charlotte, of Franklin, IN.

One sister: Mary Ann Maupin of Hawesville, KY.

Besides her parents she is preceded in death by two sisters: Barbara Jean Hill and Martha Frances Cox.

VISITATION: Thursday, September 29th, 2022, From 5pm-8pm at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville.

FUNERAL: Friday, September 30th, 2022, at 1pm EST at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville.

Burial to follow in Whited Cemetery in Casey County.
